What coverage in Alabama actually looks like
The Birmingham group is arranged around a ridge, and the covered communities sit on and beyond it rather than spreading evenly in all directions. Terrain shapes where the driveways are steep and where they are not, which is a live issue for anybody pouring one.
Several of the covered places were established well before the post-war expansion and hold housing stock from more than one era on the same street. Others filled in later and are far more uniform. The individual pages are written around which is which.
Outside that group, the rest of the state has no coverage. There is no page for it, because there is nothing behind one.
