Privacy notice

This describes what ConcreteOwner actually collects and what actually happens to it. It is written to match how the site is built, not to cover every hypothetical.

What we collect when you just read

When you browse the site, your browser stores a small attribution record in its own session storage: the first page of your visit, the referring site if your browser sends one, and any campaign parameters in the URL. This stays on your device. It is not sent anywhere unless you choose to submit a request, and it is cleared when you close the tab.

No analytics or tracking service is currently configured on this site, so no third-party analytics script loads at all. If that changes, this notice will be updated before it does, and we will not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or your project description to any analytics service.

What the decision tools collect

Nothing. Both tools run entirely in your browser and need no contact details. Your individual answers are not transmitted to us and are not stored anywhere except in the page while you are using it.

If you choose to request local help after seeing a result, we record which tool you used, its version, and the result category — so whoever reads your request understands the context. Your individual answers are not included.

What we collect when you send a request

Only what is needed to understand and route the request: your first and last name, email address, phone number, the property’s city, state and ZIP code, what the project is, what you are considering, roughly how much is affected, your timing, your confirmation that you own or are authorised for the property, your consent to be contacted, and anything you write in the description.

Alongside it we store the page you submitted from, your first page of the visit, the referring site if your browser sent one, and any campaign parameters. We also record how the request was classified and why.

We do not ask for your street address, and we do not ask for any financial information. Please do not include payment details, government identifiers or health information in the description field.

Who it is shared with

Where an independent contractor has been assigned to your service category in your area, your request is passed to that contractor so they can respond. They are an independent business and handle your information under their own practices.

Where no contractor is assigned, or your area is outside our markets, your request stays with us and a person reads it. It is not passed to anyone.

We do not sell homeowner information, and we do not supply it to call lists or data brokers.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Netlify, and requests are stored using Netlify’s storage service. Where email notification is configured, an email delivery provider processes the notification. These providers process data on our behalf in order to run the service.

How long we keep it

Requests are retained while they are useful for responding to you and for understanding whether we can serve your area, and are reviewed periodically. Submissions blocked by our automated spam checks are retained briefly so those checks can be improved, and are not used for anything else.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact form and say what you are asking for. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights; we will honour a deletion request regardless of whether a law requires it.

Consenting to be contacted is not a condition of anything you buy, and you can withdraw it at any time by telling us or by telling the contractor directly.

Children

This site is intended for property owners and decision-makers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this notice changes materially, the change will be made here before the new practice starts rather than after.
